North American Parking, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets forth how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process the personal information we receive in the course of providing our products and services (the “Services”) which includes (i) when you visit our website, northamericanparking.com, or any other website that posts this policy (collectively, the “Website”), (ii) use our products or services, or (iii) otherwise interact with us directly or indirectly through our partners and service providers (e.g., mobile applications, kiosks, license plate readers, etc.).

INFORMATION COLLECTION

“Personal Information” refers to any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual.

The Personal Information we collect about you depends on your relationship with us. For example, we collect Personal Information about our customers and their representatives. We also collect Personal Information about end users (i.e., individual parkers at locations we manage). We also collect Personal Information from visitors to our Website as well as job applicants. We may collect Personal Information directly from the individual about whom it pertains or from third party partners that provide the information to us. The Personal Information we may collect includes the following:

  • Contact details such as name, email address, phone number, and address
  • Account details such as username and password
  • Vehicle information such as license plate
  • Geolocation information
  • Information obtained from onsite video technology
  • Information about your purchase history
  • Information about entry and exit of parking facilities
  • Payment information such as cardholder name, last four digits of payment card number, and billing address
  • Information related to the specific product or service you have requested from us
  • Information collected in the job applicant context such as education and employment history, and demographic data
  • Any other information you provide to us (such as in any forms, surveys, questionnaires, phone conversations, written correspondence or otherwise)

We may also collect Personal Information automatically using various tracking technologies, such as cookies, on our Website. The information collected by these tracking technologies may include IP address, geolocation, referring URL, device ID, web browser characteristics, and date and time of activity. If you provide us Personal Information relating to other individuals, you warrant that you have the authority to do so, and where required, have obtained the necessary consent, and acknowledge that it may be used in accordance with this Policy.

We engage third party partners to help us provide our Services such as technology providers of mobile applications, monthly parking portals, kiosks, license plate readers, valet services and others. Please note that when you interact with a third-party feature within our Services, any Personal Information you provide to that third party is governed by the third party’s privacy notice and not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review such notices to understand how your data is processed by these partners.

 

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

We collect the following categories of Personal Information about California consumers. This information may be, or have been, collected directly from you, automatically when you use our services, from third parties, or from publicly available sources.

  • Identifiers, including real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, IP address, email address, account name, drivers license number, license plate number, or other similar identifiers.
  • Personal Information described in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e), including name, signature, address, telephone number, and last four digits of card number.
  • Characteristics of protected classificationsunder California or federal law, including gender or other demographic information collected in the job applicant context.
  • Commercial information, including products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, including internet or other similar activity, browsing history, search history, information about a consumer’s interaction with our Website.
  • Geolocation data, including location data inferred from your device IP address.
  • Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information, including onsite video technology.
  • Professional or employment-related information, including business contact information as well as information collected from job applicants, including education, employment, and employment history.
  • Non-public education information, including transcripts or other information which may be collected during the job application process.
  • Sensitive Personal Information, including account log-in credentials, and ethnicity or citizenship data in the job applicant context. We do not use sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about consumers.

CCPA Uses and Disclosures

We use and disclose the Personal Information we collect for the purposes described in the Information Use and Information Disclosure sections above. We do not engage in “selling” or “sharing” Personal Information for purposes of cross-contextual behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We retain the Personal Information we collect for the time period required to fulfill the legitimate business purposes for which it was collected and to engage in the use and disclosure practices outlined in this Policy, unless a different retention period is required by applicable law, or otherwise to fulfill a legal obligation or protect our legal rights. We may also maintain for an indefinite period of time certain personal information that has been de-identified. This information is no longer considered Personal Information and we commit not to attempt to reidentify such information.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We maintain organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized or illegal access, destruction, use, loss, modification, or disclosure. We make reasonable efforts to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk associated with the processing of Personal Information, however, no data transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be 100% secure in all circumstances.

CHILDREN’S DATA

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If we learn we have inadvertently collected Personal Information from children under 16 years old through our Website, we will take steps to delete that information. We do not have actual knowledge that we collect, sell, or share for cross-context behavioral advertising the Personal Information of individuals under 16 years of age.

INTERNATIONAL USERS

We are located in the U.S. By visiting the Website or using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that your Personal Information may be processed as set forth in this Policy, meaning it may be processed in a country other than your country of residence, where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country. 

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make updates, we will post the updated version on this page and indicate the date the Policy was last updated.
